Radha and Gopal are a happy married couple. Their life shattered when Gopal suffers a stroke and is paralysed. Radha devotes her time and life in serving Gopal. In the course of time, Sunder enters Radha�s life. Radha rebuffs Sunder�s advances at first, but finally succumbs. When Gopal learns of his wife�s affair with Sunder, he commits suicide to get out of their way. Radha now feels guilty about her husband�s death and leaves Sunder. The rest of the movie centers on her emotions and how she gets over her guilt to reunite with Sunder.
